Paula Besler – Creative Director & Lead Designer,

Besler Interiors LLC

Paula Besler brings more than 30 years of hands‑on interior design experience to Besler Interiors, shaped by decades of designing the seven homes she and Craig have owned, along with projects for family, friends, and neighbors throughout Chicagoland and Southeast Wisconsin. Her work blends refined taste with a deep understanding of how people truly live, creating interiors that feel elevated, warm, and deeply personal.

Paula’s design career began long before Besler Interiors existed. As a licensed attorney with a sharp analytical mind, she studied interior design for years simply because she loved it. That passion evolved into a natural, intuitive mastery of space planning, finish selection, and whole‑home cohesion. Her work caught the attention of Josh Hagen of Hagen Homes, who was so impressed by her design leadership on their personal home that he asked to include her on every new home contract he signs, a testament to her professionalism, creativity, and builder‑ready expertise.

As a design professional, Paula is known for her dedication, intelligence, quick wit, and genuine compassion. She connects with clients on a personal level, listens deeply, and brings clarity to the design process. Her approach blends creativity with structure, ensuring every project feels intentional, livable, and beautifully aligned with the client’s lifestyle.

Paula leads Besler Interiors with a rare combination of artistry, empathy, and sharp problem‑solving—making her not only a trusted designer, but a partner homeowners and builders rely on for thoughtful, timeless, and impeccably executed interiors.
